Refund policy

At Buboz Australia, we are committed to providing high-quality baby care products that families can trust. We understand that sometimes issues may arise, and this policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, replacements, and exchanges.
This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product:
- Has a major fault or defect;
- Is significantly different from its description;
- Is not of acceptable quality;
- Is not fit for its intended purpose; or
- Does not meet consumer guarantees under Australian law.
Where a product has a major failure, you may choose between a refund or replacement.
Where a product has a minor failure, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund the product as permitted by law.
Change of Mind Returns
Due to the hygienic nature of baby diapers, nappies, wipes, and other personal care products, Buboz Australia does not accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
Please carefully review product descriptions, sizing information, and quantities before placing your order.
We are unable to accept returns if:
- You ordered the wrong size;
- You changed your mind;
- Your baby prefers another product;
- The packaging has been opened;
- The product has been partially used.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If you receive:
- A faulty product;
- A damaged product;
- An incorrect item;
- A product with a manufacturing defect;
please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
To help us assess your request, please provide:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging;
- Any other information requested by our customer support team.
We may request the product be returned for inspection before a refund or replacement is approved.
Opened Hygiene Products
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we generally cannot accept returns of opened diaper, nappy, wipe, feeding, or baby care products unless:
- The product is faulty;
- The product does not comply with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law; or
- We are otherwise required by law to accept the return.
Refund Process
Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed to your original payment method.
Please allow:

3–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to:
- A faulty product;
- An incorrect item supplied by us; or
- Circumstances where Australian Consumer Law requires reimbursement.
Replacement Products
Where a replacement is approved, Buboz Australia will arrange shipment of the replacement item at no additional cost to you.
Replacement products are subject to stock availability.
If a replacement is unavailable, a refund may be issued instead.
Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved because:
- The product is faulty;
- The product is damaged upon arrival; or
- We supplied the wrong item,
Buboz Australia will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
If a return is requested for reasons not covered under Australian Consumer Law, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer where a return is accepted at our discretion.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If your order has already been dispatched, this policy will apply to any refund or return request.
Sale Items and Promotional Products
Sale items, clearance products, promotional items, and free gifts are subject to the same Australian Consumer Law rights as all other products.
However, change-of-mind returns are not accepted on these items unless required by law.
